Technology & Production Capabilities

Masach Technologies has developed unique manufacturing techniques that offer substantial benefits in the production of prototypes, small and medium to large-scale runs. Instead of using etching techniques for prototypes and then tooling for medium to large scale runs, Masach has developed a unique technique that uses automated CNC punching technology for the production of both prototypes as well as medium-scale runs. This technique offers a more straight forward transition from prototype to mass production.

Masach’s custom built progressive CNC punching machines generate shield blanks straight from coils using materials as thin as 0.1mm. As opposed to etching techniques, which are limited to flat plated blanks produced from specific non plated material, Masach’s CNC technology enables the production of inline-formed elements such as tabs and ribs using pre-plated materials. This consequently reduces costs, lead-times, and the stability of the transition to larger production. The blanks are then processed by precision bending equipment supported by Masach’s engineering and tool departments giving it the ability to deal with complex manufacturing designs.

> Inline CNC punching technology, modified to allow accurate cutting and forming of thin gauge material. We use the benefits of traditional CNC punching such as fast setups and standard tooling, in the thin gage material spectrum.
> Custom built forming tools optimize the ability to accurately bend thin materials to spec.

Press-Tooling / In-house Tool Manufacturing for high volume production runs

Progressive tooling is designed and assembled in-house and together with automatic press machines enables us to accommodate high volume demands.

High Precision 3D Laser Technology

Masach’s advanced 3D Laser Cutting Technology offers high precision 3D cutting of formed or bent Standard shields made of thin gage materials, which allows quick and accurate solutions for intricate & complex engineering designs of drawn shields.
